Just so you're aware, Skype can "turn itself back" on, linking itself to Messaging, if you're not on top of things.
I sort of got a Skype call yesterday (failed to pick up, but message came through that person was contacting me).
I didn't think much of it, sent them an email explaining why I had Skype disabled, due to battery issues, for now.
Then, I noticed my battery was down a bit more than usual last night, hmm... This AM, my battery was down to about 22% (from 64% last night, I typically lose about 5-10% overnight).
I checked, and sure enough, Skype had fully re-enabled, and was signed in, and linked to my hotmail account, without my ever changing anything in settings.
Apparently, just getting a call (which I couldn't even answer), triggered a re-enable, which in turn drained my battery, all completely unbeknownst to me, very frustrating...
If anyone knows of a more "permanent" way to disable Skype, for now anyways, I'm all ears...
Thanks.
