Be careful, Skype re-enables itself from ping, nukes your battery

Just so you're aware, Skype can "turn itself back" on, linking itself to Messaging, if you're not on top of things.
I sort of got a Skype call yesterday (failed to pick up, but message came through that person was contacting me).

I didn't think much of it, sent them an email explaining why I had Skype disabled, due to battery issues, for now.
Then, I noticed my battery was down a bit more than usual last night, hmm... This AM, my battery was down to about 22% (from 64% last night, I typically lose about 5-10% overnight).
I checked, and sure enough, Skype had fully re-enabled, and was signed in, and linked to my hotmail account, without my ever changing anything in settings.
Apparently, just getting a call (which I couldn't even answer), triggered a re-enable, which in turn drained my battery, all completely unbeknownst to me, very frustrating...
If anyone knows of a more "permanent" way to disable Skype, for now anyways, I'm all ears...

Thanks.

Strange; I never experienced that (Skype re-enabling itself) happening in my Windows 10 Mobile device. However, I, too, wasn't able to answer any Skype call I received - so that's probably our common bug.

Yeah, I couldn't answer, but it rang, maybe 1-1/2 times, and then crashed.
After that though, I didn't realize it, but Skype had re-enabled itself. Wouldn't have been *that* bad, except the battery issue, having it re-enable and drain your battery isn't a good user-experience, clearly.
I filed a "problem report", hopefully it get s a look. If you (or anyone else reading this) sees this, please upvote it!

Yeah, battery life is definitely worse with Skype messaging integration switched on. It had been known almost since the day it was launched, it would also be helpful to upvote the other entries about it.

Yeah, you can bet I upvoted them, after this. I went nuts finding all of them, and adding my vote.
I had read about it before, but didn't have any immediate plans to use it, so I admit I was bit lame in my responsiveness, until it "enabled itself", for me, and subsequently drained my battery, nifty stuff.

If anyone knows of a way to completely, actually disable it, I'd really like to know. I know I could go in manually, and remove it, but I don't want to hose my build somehow...
