Nokia Care would probably be the best place to get it repaired.

It's cracked in a couple of spots. Touch capability is gone.

I went to the nearest Microsoft store and they said there was nothing they could do.

Nokia Care try to search if there's an available nokia care in your area I think it will cost you more than $40-$60.

Using a 520 as an interim. It's a POS compared to the 820.

After spending over an hour on hold between AT&T, some useless outfit called Repairzilla, and then Nokia, I've been told I have to go to some outfit called Palco Cell Phone Repair and spend over $130 to get it fixed.

Ridiculous. Cell phone makers and carriers nickel and dime us with every damn thing even though we spend hundreds of dollars a year on their services.
