Re: [UWP] Best Player (All format Media Player with Subtitles / File Manager)

Supporting the m4v file extension would be nice so that users don't have to rename to mp4. Playlists would also be nice, but not a must-have or anything.

On the phone, I mostly just find myself being frustrated by OS limitations (no SMB/network share support, no hidden file support, etc.) but I think most of that is probably out of your control.

On the wish list would be supporting the Cast to API for DLNA/Miracast, but that's obviously more complicated.

Re: [UWP] Best Player (All format Media Player with Subtitles / File Manager)

Modifiable colors for main screen please :)

I don't know what version you have. The new one is 3.8.7. I have changed a little the colors.
Anyway soon, the UI will change completely. It will match windows 10, so the colors will match the current theme on your device.

I checked the file. It works normal. I don't know if the problem is any strange character. Try to rename it and tell me. But anyway on my computer it works perfect (without renaming). Have you registered main hard disk (C:)? Drop the file to main screen. I don't know if there are any permission issues. Please provide me more info. (pm).

No problem. I will do it.

Playlists would also be nice, but not a must-have or anything.

I agree. I never use playlists, but anyway the app will have full playlist support. Save, Load playlists, add, remove items.
For now (except folder play) you can add items by dropping them inside the player (desktop version).

The most of that is out of my control. The other remaining, will be added when i will start to work more comprehensively on the file manager. (File sharing via email, nfc, bluetooth, e.t.c, context menu, compression/decompression-already rar/zip/7zip decompression is supported- e.t.c.). I am alone, so i need more time to handle everything.

On the wish list would be supporting the Cast to API for DLNA/Miracast, but that's obviously more complicated.

Soon will be added.

Thank u very much for the suggestions/feedback.

What happened to the fullscreen button (on PC)? Also, if you snap, then unsnap, whatever video you're playing tends to stay in a small view.

Re: [UWP] Best Player (All format Media Player with Subtitles / File Manager)

I wanted to save some space in the control bar of media player -to be more compact- and i think that the full screen button is not necessary, because with double tap/click you can enter/exit full screen. Do you think it's important to be visible, or the users are not aware of the double click function? I think the operation is a well known operation to the pc users. Anyway i will restore it in next update.

Also, if you snap, then unsnap, whatever video you're playing tends to stay in a small view.
On Windows 10 if you snap? I can't see this bug on my system. If you are not boring can you send me(pm) a screenshot? (Before and after)

Re: [UWP] Best Player (All format Media Player with Subtitles / File Manager)

Makes sense about fullscreen. That's definitely how windowed apps tend to work. As I use tablet mode all the time on my Surface, it just wasn't something I thought of as a valid shortcut in that context.

As for snap, yes I was talking about on the PC.

Here you can see fullscreen, then how it appears in snap, and then how it stays when unsnapped.

Re: [UWP] Best Player (All format Media Player with Subtitles / File Manager)

I see. On my system, i can't see this bug, as you see (table mode, snap).
snap.JPG

I suppose the problem existed even before the last update(v 4.1.4). The bug exists in both orientation modes (portait/landscape) of your device?
Anyway I will try to fix it. Thanks.

Hi, I bought this app and I run it through my Xbox One and I like it a lot!

But do have some future request that i would love to see in this app.

1 The ability to change the subtitle font size (bigger/smaller)

2 Subtitle and Audio Delay function.

3 Resume movies from where you left off? (This feature does not work for me if I close the program and open up again and click on the movie I started to look at and it will start again from the beginning)

Hi Mark. Sorry for the delay. I am happy that you like the app. Thank you very much.

About your requests/suggestions:
1. You are able to change the subtitle font size
2. You are able to correct the subtitles time.

Check the below image. Use the left panel. (it will be visible only if subtitles are loaded)

test.jpg

I suppose you have understood how to change the other subtitle settings (colors, text alignment etc).

2. I will include the audio delay capability.
3. You are right. I have to fix this too. Now, the "resume" feature works only if the app is not closed (only suspended)

If you have any other requests/suggestions, let me know. Thank you.

I really like the

Thank you
