Best Windows Phone 8 device. (POLL)

To be honest I feel the best windows phone is missing !!!

ok Nokia Lumia 1520 is a cool one with cool &big battery but it is a phablet not a smartphone for me, a smartphone should be maximum 5" screen not more, so I can fit it in my pocket without problems, the thing keeping me away from WP8 is the battery, I'm waiting for WP8.1 devices from Nokia and Lumia 930 as a start is not my dreams flagship at all....why ??

in general a flagship smartphone (iOS, Android & Windows Phone8.1) will serve you in common areas like social media & phone calls providing different but close experience for the same goal.

for me and for alot of people the most important thing is for how long you will keep me away from recharging ?!

for the same reason I prefer to use Lumia 720 for it's great battery rather than Lumia 920 !

and the battery was behind my decision to buy the Galaxy S4 rather than HTC One M7, it is all about the battery.

Hope we will see soon a nice specs Nokia flagship 1030 or 935 with cool camera of course and big battery like more than 3500 mAh.

like Philips W6618 Android smart phone with 5300 mAh and 5" screen and stand-by time of more than two months (1604 hours, or 66 days), that is really cool if it was Windows Phone 8.1 and from Nokia .

I haven't used high end Android, but recently got the Nokia 925 and it is very nice. It is fast, has an excellent screen. Hard to say on battery life since I haven't had it long, generally I am not a very heavy user though. I do think 5" is good size for a phone, but at 4.5" this works well enough. The only thing missing in the higher end phones from Nokia that strangely the low end phones have is an SD card slot.
Hopefully as more manufacturers make devices for WP we'll see plenty of variety and high end choices for those that want them.

I voted Samsung SE just so I could be by myself. So far, it has worked!!

I think the Lumia 920 has stood the test of time the best so far. But, if I was voting honestly I would say the Icon is the best overall. I love the L1520, but the 6" mammoth screen makes it a device that only a small % of WP users would enjoy. The 5" Hi-Def screen is much more acceptable, and offsets the lack of glance. Those quad-core bad boys are the most future proof, especially in the world of WP.

Special nod to the L1020. Still a bit of device aimed at a smaller user base, but a game changer that got WP great press.
1) Icon.
2) L920
3) L1520.
4) L1020
5) ATIV SE. Honest, that device rocks. Try it out.

I do think the HTC 8X at least needs a spot on the poll.

The best hasn't been delivered. The best so far would be the Lumia 920 and Nokia Icon with runners up being the Nokia 1020. The best would be a phone with Microsoft branding calling itself "Surface X". With specs and camera and battery that drives it all like the HTC One M8, who probably has the best battery I've ever seen. In fact, HTC could build my next Microsoft phone. (notice I didn't call it Windows Phone. Lately, I've reconsidered that name and that distinction belongs to the desktop.)

I am on 1520 and, complaints aside, it's a nice device.
Second choice would be an Icon, third would be a 1020 but i also wish i had an HTC 8X. I always liked it even when i was on Android.

The 1020 would have been my first pick if it wasn't for one thing...

Even when it was launched, the processor was considered old, the bezels were huge, the screen was a bit small and it lacked important features including an SD-card slot. Had they only kept the specifications up to date, it would sell like hot cake still!

Instead the only phone that was released with up-to-date specifications in a good-looking high-quality chassis got my vote, namely the 1520, even though the screen isn't for the average consumer.

My vote goes to the 520. A rock solid little performer at a ridiculous price that really pushed the platform forward more than any other phone to date.

My vote goes to the 925. Because of the great specs, camera 📷 and the unique design
Thank you Nokia for such a great phone.

My vote for the gorgeous L925 as well. Its a thing of beauty, can't get my eyes off it. Runner's up position to the workhorse L520, the one that made people realise that you can a have a lag free device at a very affordable price.

720, 925.

720 for it's shape, size and battery, 925 for it's design and camera, the screen is great as well, but sometimes a bit green.
I'd get a 720 with 1GB ram and 925s or better camera in a heartbeat.

Well, I had to pull a Snowmutt and vote for the ATIV S Neo so I could be by myself. I've been a Nokia guy on WP8 and frankly, I had never heard of the Neo. I've been rocking it for two days now and I'm in love.

Clue, buddy I almost pulled the trigger on a Neo, but found a new in box L920 cheaper. But, the Neo had a bigger, more vibrant screen, better hardware button placement, and just wowed me with it's appealing look. The L920 speaker is better, I like the wieght of it better, and of course Nokia support is better. But I really think I am gonna regret not grabbing the Neo. I feel hard for it's package, and their exclusive app catalog has continued to grow and improve.

Then I played with a SE, and was just floored again with how great a device it was.

Samsung.... love them or resent them, they have found a way to make tech just feel right. I am still a stinking fan in spite of myself.

I agonized for days between a 920 and the Neo. In the end, the deciding factor was the removable SD card. When the prices come down on the SE, I'll be all over that beast.
