Just got the email and installed, here are my first thoughts.

The link to Forums should be higher, its a key feature and could be missed by new users down the line.

When in the forums section a header would help to know where you are. Also related navigating could be better, takes many swipes to get to Nokia and HTC forums since they are further down on the site layout. How about implementing something similar to the letter picker in the app list but using the forum titles, that way its easier to get to your desired forum.

Edit: Also (now sending from the app) how about linking our offline lists to our profile so we can keep that history when changing phones.

And not sure if it should be from the site first but a way to mark forums as favs and have that accessible from the app will probably help with the lengthy navigation.

Edit 2: bigger buttons for edit, quote, thanks. Current ones are really small.

Otherwise so far looking good. :)

The jump list idea is one we are planning as part of the 'final polish' :) you read my mind!

As for offline lists, I can't link those to profiles yet, I don't have the framework to do it right now.

Bigger buttons, check, although the size is a limit, would you be happy with padding between them to increase the touch target?

They can get a little bigger (can't be wider than the image above them) so I'll be sure to tweak that thanks :)

Thanks. I can see you're going to need quite a few Red Bulls to keep up! :)

Ha, I'm taking a few days off development at the moment (except for a few quick bug fixes) you wouldn't believe how much work doing all of this from scratch has been...

You've done a great job with it so far, deserved rest.

Got one more item though :). I use the larger txt size in the main app, the forums section uses the default small size. Not sure if that is coming but something I miss. But there's definitely less screen real estate so if not possible no problem.

Real estate is definitely going to be a problem there, but I will look at it. Probably won't be in this first release though :)

Totally agree about the position of Forums on the main app list... maybe go with forums, wallpapers, tip us on that right side.

What's better... Like or Thanks? I usually click Like more than Thanks just for button position on the site.

Personally, I think if the buttons animate as a press, it might alleviate the need for bigger ones. Thoughts?

I'd like a way to go to last read post, even if I last read in a desktop browser and was then switching to mobile via the app.

I use "like" more than "thanks", so I'd prefer having a "like" button.

What about having another spoke in the main hub of the app that has the top three(ish) hottest thread and then under that could be a link that could take the user to the front page of the forums? I would rather have this in conjunction with the current tile, as it is a major part of the app.

I like that idea.

I'd like the ability to subscribe to threads in the app, without needing to open the browser.

I dont think animating the buttons makes them easier to hit; it'll tell you if you hit the wrong one though, so maybe still useful.

Animating buttons will come in the final version guys, but we do need to pad them I agree oh that. The hottest threads may not be possible, I am restricted by what the Tapatalk API will let me do. And on that note 'likes' were my preferred option too but again, the Tapatalk API doesn't seem to allow for them yet :S

The idea is good but I can't get a list of hottest threads from the tapatalk API unfortunately.

Will shelf this one for a future release if it's possible
