Better resolutions for 2nd Gen phones?

I was wondering that if and when the 2nd Gen devices got our Apollo update that we might have better resolutions. Can anyone tell me if this is impossible or could happen?

I think Winterfang mislead you or did not read your question wrong.

No, your device will not be updated in resolution. The resolution is fixed by the screen technology.

any WP prior to Apollo will look the same...

like upgrading your TUBE TV to a HD TV with a software.. not possible...lol

resolution is part of the *hardware*. ( and obviously both the software and hardware need to support the resolution. )
