Black/Dark theme has taken step backwards in 10122

I knew it was too good to be true. I had the SystemUsesLightTheme registry hack enabled and it seems like they crushed what was good about the dark theme. It's gone to more depressing use of greys and white.

A half hearted attempt was made at Cortana but Cortana does not looks as she does in WP8.1
