Black Nillkin Gentleman Folio Leather Cover Case for L920 [Pictures]

Got my Folio case in. What do you guys think? I'm liking it so far, except for the fact that the cover doesn't fold flat behind the phone. It actually does feel good in the hand holding it as a wedge (like an open paperback book), but I'm not sure how well the seams will hold up. Only time will tell. It does feel pretty solid. The outside is tough and textured and almost feels like plastic (its listed as leather on eBay). The inside of the cover has a softer, sort of microfiber texture, which should play nice with the screen. The buttons are recessed pretty deep, but I can still get to them okay. I'm having a little difficulty doing a half-press-to-focus with the camera button, though. The top, bottom, and corners of the phone, camera and LED flash are also recessed for protection. The NFC charger works well with the case. Overall, I love the style, look and quality and have every confidence that my phone will be protected from drops.

How well does the cover stay shut? It doesnt look like there is a catch or a magnet and the pics look like it is slightly open normally. Shame about the cover not folding back flat but it does look like a really nice case, and a pretty good price too.

You are correct about there not being a catch or magnet to keep the cover shut. It does stay open a little, like in the picture. But I think It's only because it's still stiff and hasn't been broken in yet. Maybe a week in my pocket and opening/closing it will stretch the leather (if it is indeed leather)?

Yes, at about $15, free shipping and solid quality, how can you go wrong? Now since it's from China, the shipping estimate gives you 14-20 days, but I got mine in 9 days (Las Vegas). So I was pleasantly surprised.

It feels like I'm an opening fortune cookie everytime with that catchy phrase

I really like the design and look of the case. It think it gives my phone an executive look. That's more important to me in a case since I keep my phones naked. Especially, if um going to cover a phone as beautiful as the 920. Some people would rather have a big bulky otterbox case. I rather have a slim, sleek looking case. The phone still functions properly. I keep my phone face down, and the wedge can double as a mini stand when watching videos. The wedge actually gives your thumb a good place to grip.

General hard plastic one. I hate it. I got some bubbles that I can't remove. And its actually smaller than our glass. So it doesn't cover all the way to the edges. I'm going to buy another one and replace it.

The case is just smaller than it should be. The screen protector is also not fit for purpose (too small). The quality is not bad actually for ?10.

I am keeping until the CP-600 arrives in the UK.
