Black or white background?

I did some research about LCD screens. In some sites it said that it took less energy to display a white screen and that it takes more energy to display a black screen . I know it's a noob question , but I was wondering if this was correct and if this applies to the titan's slcd screen.

There may be a slight difference but you're talking on the order of 5% or so. I wouldn't worry a whole lot about it.

On my Samsung focus, the white used a lot more. Way more than 5%... So I switched it back.

With such good battery on the titan, I may try and use it again.
