hi friend, what i was meant to ask is, is der any difference between these to gdr3..? have microsoft added any additional features when they punlished gdr3 with nokia's black..? you know, the first one was a preview version...

double tap is a feature in the black firmware provided by Nokia, not by Microsoft. Don't confuse matters. The gdr3 part is the same whether downloaded as preview or as part of gdr3+black.

no you weren't. Your post suggested that double tap was a feature of the gdr3 final version, which it is not.

Black is by Nokia, and Microsoft has nothing to do with it.

If one downloads gdr3 as a preview or as part of gdr3+black, the "gdr3" features remain the same. The question being asked is whether gdr3 (provided by Microsoft) is different whether downloaded as preview or as gdr3+black- the answer is No.

Same case with me. I am using Huawei's E8232 WiFi Dongle which works as WiFi Hotspot for 3G network. We can insert 3G sim and dongle will share network over WiFi.
It took me around 40 minutes to update on 3G network through WiFi dongle mentioned above.

Hi, i have a Portugal "country variant" version that i update to Amber through NSU. Now im waiting for Black but my build id is 3046.0000.1329.10263 and this numer it's not displayed in the Nokia update page.

What should i do? There is something i can do?

If you have Portugal Country variant, your Black Update is Available (from Nokia web: Portugal Lumia 620 Country variant 3056.40000.1404.0002 Available ). Try it update via OTA (Wifi). Look for your Product ID and find in Navifirm, if your ROM is available at Nokia servers. If yes, you can update via NSU or Nokia Recovery Tool

i have a country variant lumia 620 from Austria - on nokia's webpage it's shown "available" for the black update, but unfortunately I am not able to download and install it.
firmware revision number currently on my phone is - 3046.0000.1329.2002
any hints?
