Blu Winhd lte - Burnt out graphics chip

Don't know if this has effected anyone in the community.

I've been running W10 mobile ever since they offered it to the WinHD and WinHD lte.

Currently running OS : 10.0.14393.1715 on both W510u and X150Q.

This week the WinHD LTE kicked the bucket. Had a green line down the middle. Still looks like the system works but graphics chip is done. Already know Blu won't give proper support cuz i'm up in Canada. But bang for the buck it's done me good.

Don't know if something with the build or cheap hardware. But just wanted to give the heads up to anyone that may know where to look.

With these phones, I've always thought the brightness could be more dim. on the WinHD the lowest setting is 2%. Which is still amazingly bright for night time.

Great work horses, but never expected the older phone to outlast the newer phone.

Still love the ecosystem, and definitely not paying $2000 for iPhone X. LOL

Sorry to hear about your Blu. Mine had a bad defect where I couldn’t type fast otherwise it would skip letters and that. Games worked just fine just not typing. So it’s been collecting dust for a while now.
