Bluetooth Earpiece Sound is HORRIBLE

I'm hoping I'm the only one, which would point to my headset being bad, but man, using my BT headset (Jabra BT530) has become too much trouble to bother with. The audio is so bad in and out (crackly, missing words, etc) that I can't use it.

Has anyone else had any issues with bad bluetooth sound? if I have to spring for a new headset, I can live with that. I just hope it's not the OS and an issue with the stack or worse, the radio in the Focus.
