Bluetooth Won't Connect for incoming calls Lumia 920 after upgrade

Lumia 920 since they came out. I upgraded to the latest 8.1 update and now my Bluetooth device won't answer incoming calls. It works fine on outgoing calls. I might add that my Bluetooth device is for my hearing aids, it is supposed to transmit the call to my hearing aids. I'm pretty desperate for this functionality. when I answer a call the Bluetooth function is grayed out. Any help would be much appreciated because I'm functionally deaf and can't function without this feature.
