I just want to reply this even it's very old thread but many devices of 1020 suffer from same problem which given pictures blurry on some edge or corner ...
it's kind of Luck ? since I saw lots of users infected this decentered kind (some worse some is acceptable just 5-8% from edges/corners) while some have near absolutely sharp on every corner which I have once that camera module (but it have huge color cast on that module)
this both problem not seen on 808 but near every 1020 have this .... and it's most likely happen the right edge
few devices have lower color cast and sharper (infinite focus) on every corner (this must use 16:9 to check because more device fine with 4:3 or you can say if you want to avoid this or decrease it ... needed to shoot at 4:3)
it's very annoying me that I have sent my phone to nokia care and they even don't know how to see / check this problem ... and no one come to explain it's normal or not (well how to say it's normal if some devices got super lucky to get that perfect condition of camera module ?? or it got huge difference in quality term for camera module since this phone properly focused on it's camera (that many peoples included me brought it because it's camera)
I have both love and hate this device ... and maybe it's got careless from both Nokia / Microsoft ...
It maybe useless to typing in here but I just want someone in future who searching for clue to know that you is not alone...
