Had a weird issue with my 15/256 SP4 last night. I switched on my surface pro 4 after a full charge with the charger not plugged in. I had removed the keyboard as i turned it on. It just kept bootlooping the Surface splash screen. No matter what i did with the hardware buttons it couldnt power off or anything.
I had to let it power itself off while i slept. I woke up this morning and it was off. Powered it on and it booted into windows fine so not sure if it just glitched when i turned it on and removed the keyboard.
But my real concern is if it was just restarting itself every few seconds and turning the hardware on and off that doesnt seem like it would of been good for the hardware and im worried it may of damaged it.
Anyone else experience anything like this?
