bought a new xbox one s but cortana?

Hi all,

I just bought a new Xbox one s, gorgeous piece of hardware. Did all the updates etc., connected Kinect to it as well.

But hey Cortana functionality is so slow, ridiculously slow

Is this a known issue, anything that can be done to speed it up?

Sadly, I think this is just the state of Cortana on Xbox One (or if you have a slower internet connection?). You can revert to the original 'Xbox' commands in the system settings if you'd like snappier commands however. Unlike the original Xbox commands which were console based, Cortana feeds entirely off a server. There are some updates in the pipeline which improve Cortana, but the current public release isn't the best right now.
