any way to fix an overly bright pixel when showing light colors?

Ive heard you can press on the pixel with a pin when the phone is off, turn it on whilst pressing and the light will change but don't hold me to that.

I had this showing up on my 1520, about an inch down from the top, just right of center.

Sounds about like the spot where yours is showing up? If so get it replaced...as it seems to be an issue occurring with some units. I just had to replace my 32GB RM-940 unit due to this showing up.

I'm hoping the replacement doesn't show this since it took almost 3 weeks last time before it became apparent.

Yup. AT&T in the US.

They wanted to give me a refurb, but I pushed and they caved and shipped me a new one.
