brightness control issue

Hi everyone,

Having a small issue with brightness control. My Sp4 is set to hibernate mode via power button and when closing using the type cover as well.

However when I switch it by closing the type cover, my brightness control will go malfunction, no matter what shortcut key or using windows keyboard to brighten / dim the brightness. it will not work. it will only work after i restart my sp4 to make it function again

but the odd thing is that, if i switch it off via the power button , brightness control will be functional as normal and work perfectly until i close it using the type cover again. in that way i have to restart the sp4 again.

anyone having the same issues?
