Brightness issue

Since the anniversary update, by auto brightness doesn't go dark in low light and stays dark in bright light. What do?

try a soft reset or toggle the brightness controls off and on
if that doesn't work, wait for the next update to sort it out

same problem only update will fix this but it's problem poor testing, insider is not replace profi testers

I also have the same problem....It just goes dim, and then I have to push the power button to put the screen to black, and then the power button again to wake, and it's back. It's a nuisance....and it happens more frequently as the days go by.

As many said, maybe a soft reset solves the problem. If not, turn up or down manually and wait for an update to fix it.

For the whole day today, i did not have any issues with the dimming..... Even windows bugs are inconsistent and unreliable
