Brightness; Low isn't the lowest brightness

The brightness feature is virtually the same, except for one thing. Having it on Low, isn't even the lowest setting.

If I'm in the dark, the Low setting will be brighter than Auto setting. I guess its nice to know Auto works well, I wish Low really was the lowest setting.
 
Is it somehow possible to lower the screen more? I use LOW right now, just wanna see if it's better for the battery to disable the automatic mode.
 
No, you can't dim it further than low. I was hoping that they would put in a linear adjustment mode but that didn't happen sadly.

I think putting it in automatic will help more with battery life. It's much better than it was in WP7. At least that's what I'm noticing. In most places where I am the automatic brightness dims the screen further than when put on low.
