I noticed today that the usb c port of my phone has a crack, which is probably why the phone has been constantly restarting randomly, I had thought it to be windows preview issue.

So I tried going on the device support page but the lumia lines have disappeared from the device reapair page, even though my 5 year old original xbox shows up.

There's no repair options for the lumia 950xl on microsofts site anymore or even a number to call, and if you call the general tech support number a message tells you to go to the site for support, but theres no repair info on the ms site.

I called the surface line support and they are telling me I have to contact the phone manufacturer for repairs, ive been going round and round but am getting nowhere.

Does anyone know how to get to the actual lumia repair line or how I can fix the usb c port?

Ok, so after a few call backs, one rep directed me to https://support.b2x.com and said they purchased the lumia brand and are now in charge of repairs.

But when i go to the site and fill out the info, it says:

No Send-In service available for selected device

Unfortunately we do not offer the Send-In option for your device type currently. Please use the chat or callback options for further assistance, or visit your local point of sales.

update, so I bought a factory replacement usb c socket for the 950xl, and brought everything to my phone repair shop.
He took it apart and unfortunately there are too many small wires to soldier and he cannot do it.

So now I'm without a phone ;( . 700$ down the drain.

does anyone know a place that will for sure fix the phone if I send in the parts?
Does anyone know of a good sale going on a windows phone 10 that can hold me over until the surface phone?

Maybe there aren't any where you live but I would ask multiple repair shops. Not everyone has the same skill levels, idle time, or risk acceptance.

When my 925 had broken pins in the SIM socket, the first two shops said about the same thing yours did. The 3rd fixed it for perfectly.

No luck, no one around is able to do it. There's an online repair mail in place that charges 70€. I cant seem to find broken 950xl for sale so I can swap out the boards. Currently using my 1020 with an unstable version of w10 that refuses to update to a new build :/

The usb c port is stick in the motherboard it could't replacment.
If you want to fix in this case have 2 option i think
1. Buy the new one of usb c port and you have to use soldering iron to replace it (save cost but hard)
2 but the new motherboard ( expensive But easy to do )

It is what i think
