Build 10041 Released on Fast Ring

Same on my HP Envy laptop... anybody found a way around this?

It's probably just a delay in replicating the files around the update servers.

Norton Security worked on previous build not on 10041. It doesn't report an error, icon sits in system tray and is unresponsive, just like the app icon. Wonder whether there will be a fix soon...

That may be down to Symantec, if so it will be awhile before they push out a patch.

I have a good internet cconnection. It download 50% with average speed but now taking forever to download.

Same here, I have a yoga 2 pro.. It installed on my Asus UX31.. I guess i'll be waiting

Windows Update does not find Build 10041 - Microsoft Community worked for me. The registry had something set wrong.

I have a question guys. For example I'm downloading the preview update now and then my connection dropped after some time. When the connection is up again, will the download revert back to the beginning or will the download continue where it left off?

Got it. I had to do the tweak for the people, news and mail but I got it and I like it. I use Firefox as my browser and man, that puppy is FAST!! I never saw web pages fully display so fast. It feels solid but I know, its still beta.

Yeah, the system definitely feels quicker and slicker than the previous build. Could well be that "snappier" placebo thing of course.

Can't wait for Spartan next month.

Well I finally got my *** upgraded to the UK Cortana build and will probably do another wipe and reinstall when the next OS version comes out. But do like it, though everything feels rounded now.

Unfortunately I was not so lucky... redownloading the previous build's iso. I had it but deleted it last month as it was waste of space back then lol.
The issues I've encountered aren't going to deter me from upgrading again to 10041.

I've had a lot of problems with overheating on my tablet after updating to any of the preview builds. I'm pretty certain that the issue is because of either CPU drivers or graphics drivers. Any ideas?
