I'm guessing this is a one-off build b/c they mistakenly released the updated Photos app to the Fast Ring and this reverts it.

it did fix the corrupted "windows update" characters in settings.

That could be the case. My Elite X3 on Production ring is on .248.

It was odd, there was something wrong with my updater. It had not checked for updates in 3 days. Getting it now and will see if my manually installed photos app gets reverted

Edit: Still no photos app update to revert me back. Will wait and see how this plays out.

Most likely not. It probably just puts the Photos app back to the old version. Can anyone confirm this is correct?

I tried upgrading to this on my 950, but it errors and says the "time and date" settings are incorrect and it can not install. Time/date and time zone are set to automatic and correct.

Thanks. This worked for me. Got .249 into my L1020 (while masquerading as a 950).

While it does seem to be slightly snappier than the previous .158 that I had, it is is too early to tell if this will hold. Otherwise, it doesn't sees to have done any good but at least no bad either.
