Buy on-line, return/exchange in-store?

Has anyone purchased on-line and able to return/exchange in-store?

How about adding MS Complete to an on-line order 30 days after purchase?

Online chat told mentioned an on-line purchase can only be returned/exchanged by shipping it back. Surely, this can't be true???
