Calendar alerts need to be a lot less intrusive

The title says it all. I just lost a chance at beating my high score in a game because of a massive alert for a friends birthday. While some games do pause, most of them don't. I'd be much better off with a toast notification instead of a half page banner and could do with a little less vibration. I already have live tiles and lockscreen notification for gods sake.

Go to SETTINGS > ringtones+sounds there you can change it under reminders

And in calander you can disable reminders..

Yeah. you can change the vibration to off and the reminder ringtone to none. Settings > ringtones+ sounds.

I wasn't quite looking to disable it entirely per se. Just would prefer it be a less intrusive when I'm in an app.

How about this, you can either turn of the vibration or the ringtone. This way it will be 50 percent less intrusive.i would prefer the vibration only.

Manually enabling quiet hours might delay any popups until you disable it again.
