Calendar annoyence for uk users.

Apparently it's Labour day tomorrow according to my 930.

As a UK resident whose phone has all it regional & language settings set to UK I don't particularly want to know about any US special days.

Anyone else NOT in the US getting informed of US special calendar day's while using Windows Phone 8.1?

The calendar app has NOTHING to do with your phone settings.
All of the events you see in your calendar - are from the accounts on your phone (Outlook, Gmail, Facebook etc).
Open this event in the calendar, and check what account is it from.

It was Outlook that had set the Labour Day in the calendar.

Odd seeing as I've just checked my Outlook account settings & Country / Region is set to UK, England with time zone set to London / GMT.

Anyway I've managed to open the reminder in the calendar & un tick the reminder for US holidays.
