Calendar Appointments Missing

I've done a search and haven't found an answer.

Using a Nokia 1020 running WP8.1 with the Cyan update.

Appointments that I had in my calendar in August have now disappeared. I don't know when it happened exactly, but sometime within the last 10 days. I log into my live.com account and the appointments are still in the calendar there. I have Never selected for deleting completed items. When I check the settings on the Nokia, the only option to sync is Email. Nothing else.

Thoughts appreciated. Thanks.

[h=4]Syncing Microsoft accounts and Microsoft Exchange accounts[/h] To see the calendar for a Microsoft account or a Microsoft Exchange account (typically used at work) on your phone, just set up the account. The calendars will automatically show up along with your contacts and email, and your phone will sync the following events (these settings can't be changed):

• Two weeks of past single-instance (non-recurring) events.
• All future single-instance events.
• All recurring events that have occurrences within the last two weeks or anytime in the future.

Thank you. As I noted, my Live.com account is set up on the phone; however, the only syncing option I have (the checkboxes) is Email. There should ge checkboxes for the other items, Contacts, Calendar (maybe 1 or 2 others) as well.
