Calendar not working after 8.1 update

My calendar is grayed out. It wont open and wont update even after I search for app updates. anyone else having this issue?

An update appeared on my Store app a little while after updating. It should do the same for you guys..

i updated after 4 failed updates and since then its been grayed out

After my update, I couldn't open the Calendar, or Battery Saver, or Facebook. I ended up doing a factory reset, which was much, much, much faster than with 8.0. Everything is working now, but it was a pain to log into all of my apps again. If you do this, be sure to force a backup first. BTW, it retained my Start Screen layout.

I just checked my 520 and I have the Calender, you should try resetting your phone for a fix.
