Calendar

I've just got a 820 very pleased so far, but one thing I cant figure out is the calendar tile, it only shows the day and date, is there any way of showing more detail like the whole month?

Not on the tile, which is a shame. It does show events a day before e.g. Birthdays which I've found invaluable when I've forgot to buy a card.
Not sure if any 3rd party calendar apps show you the full month, can't remember seeing any.
