I too switched from a 920 to 1020, but just for the Camera.
I used the 920's wireless charging when i was a work, but wireless charged the phone slow compared to the wired charging,
also wireless charging would make the phone HOT , and on a Long term it would spoil the casing of the phone ( my 920 was peeled near the camera strip )
But apart from the camera,1020 has its plus notes too.
1020 is lighter than the 920, but the 920 does feel good in your hand.
1020 has better RAM, 2 gb to be precise, but it does'nt make a difference now, but in future updates it mite.
1020 is the flagship camera phone, can expect updates to happen alot quicker and supported a bit longer.
Also, has a Amoled Screen as opposed to LCD on 920's, but then some people like LCD's some prefer Amoled's.
I dont know why but the battery life on the 1020 seems better than the 920,have asked a few people they agree to it.
Coming to the low light factor,920 has a bigger aperture so indeed it will produce great low light images, wit low detail in general.
But 1020 has a bigger sensor, which produces crisp and sharp images, the images produced by 1020 are much sharper and detailed.
As your a Photographer you have RAW output, so if you use it as a daily driver you wont miss any shot ( oppssss I dont have my DSLR for this shot today, i forgot to carry )
it has happened many times with me,i found something interesting and clicked, Reframed , Cropped, Saved and Shared.
For the record i absolutely Love my Switch but 920 felt good in hand except for the weight factor.
