Camera broken/burnt?

So I updated to wp8.1 and camera was buggy, got hot and those issues people are complaining. I tried to go back to wp8 with nokia system recovery but now nokia camera is only a black screen and bult in camera app doesnt show the camera image. Have I burnt my camera?

PS: Opening Nokia Glam me, the front camera works, then when I change to the back camera, it freezes. How f**ked am I?

But anyways, more seriously, I'd say your phone needs service, Nokia Care should be able to assist.

Well, when at wp8.1 the camera was kinda not working but I could at least see the image, just with some color stripes. Now it's just black :/

Where did you get the phone?

You were using the phone that had stripes on the image.

No, it's not that I was using the camera with those stripes, I could just open the nokia camera app and see that the camera was at least "seeing something". Now I cannot open nokia camera app at all. I just want to know if wp8.1 just broke my camera or if this is a very weird bug.

Try using the Nokia recover tool again.. If that doesn't work make sure your phone is running 8.0 when you send it into Nokia Care and they should be able to fix it and or replace it. I sent in a 925 with a busted sim tray, phone came back with a non functioning loud speaker.. Sent the phone back in and I received a new device. Nokia care will set this straight.. just don't mention you upgraded to 8.1.
