Camera error on Lumia 532 after upgrade Windows Phone 8.1 to 10 (build 10.0.10586.29)

Hi everyone.

Yesterday i've been upgrade my Lumia 532 from windows phone 8.1 to windows phone 10 (build 10.0.10586.29).
After the upgrade is complete, camera stop working - error 0xA00F4246 (0xE8010014).

I've tried downgrade to 8.1 using Windows Device Recovery Tool, and for my suprise, camera don't work anymore.

So I've tried upgrade again do WP 10, and the camera worked for while, but after a few tests, it stopped again.

Anyone knows if this is the type of problem that could be solved in a new build of Windows Phone 10?

Any help?

Hello Mateus,

I would suggest backing up your data and performing a hard reset from settings >> system >> about >> reset. Then setup your phone as usual. Open the Store and check for updates and install all of them. Wait for 30-mins and check if there are any additional store updates, if yes install them as well. Restart your phone and check if the camera works.

Thanks for your reply.
After some tests, I noticed that, after reboot, the camera works fine for a little time. I can open, close and reopen a few times.
Than, it stop.
I ask myself if windows phone work as the same way as the others versions of windows at desktop, working with services. And if yes, if there are a way to restart the service of camera without reboot, because it seems that the service or process is restarted after a reboot, than the app stop when and error happen. In desktops, we can set the service to restart after the error happen.
It happens everytime I reboot.
The steps I've made are:

1) I was using windows phone 8.1 without any problem. Than I've downloaded windows insider app and upgraded to windows phone 10.
2) after noticed that camera don't work, I've downgraded to 8.1 using windows device recovery tool.
3) after downgraded, i've noticed that camera don't worked in windows phone 8.1, than i think that some driver or system file could be lost or corrupted during the process for any reason that I don't know. than, i've upgraded again, this time, choosing the option FAST at windows insider (the first time, I choose SLOW).
4) the result is the same. the camera don't work and presents the same error code: 0xA00F4246 (0xE8010014). This time, I've noticed what I've said in the beggining of the reply, that after the reboot, the camera work for a while.
Every step i've made, all the updates are downloaded.

I've seen others forums trying to find any solution for this problem. One thing that I see, is that the folder CAMERA ROLL could be lost the permissions and maybe would be necessary regain the property of the folder as OWNER and set full control to everyone. I've tried this, but it seems not apply to windows phone, because the file system isn't NTFS. I don't found the tab security in any folder. Besides that, when the camera work, the pictures and the movies are created properly in the folder. I've tried to change the folder location to SD card, bau the error continue to happen.
So, I think it could be a service ou a process that stopped, by the way that error happen.

If you already tried a soft reset (hold vol down + power 15 secs),and you are sure there are no Store pendings, wait for next Camera app update....
