Hello guys,

I was wondering if I suck at photography or is it a hardware fault? Whenever I capture a pic with my Lumia 620 in the house without using flash, the pic is good but when I use flash, the pic is of very bad quality. The flash totally ruins the picture. This seems to a hardware fault to me. Also, when I capture any pic outdoors in sunlight, the pic is not that sharp. I am attaching some pics here. Please help.WP_20130928_001.jpg
Took this pic with flash. As you can see, the flash totally ruins the pic from the left side and this happens in all the pics that I capture with flash. Not sure, if this is a hardware fault or if I am doing something wrong. Updated my phone with Amber update but even that hasn't fixed this.

Also, look at the following pics. They are not sharp at all not sure why. All these pics are captured on Auto settings and I made sure not to move my hand and keep the phone steady.

This pic below looks good though.

Your results are normal, using flash ruins the picture (depends on certain situations though), instead of using the flash, try increasing the ISO or decrease the shutter speed.

one more thing if you keep your finger too close to camera lens or the flast it may kind of reflect back the flash and can result in that kind of cloudy brightness

I also had the same problem sometimes the pics looks distorted or bluish. It happens when you have the protective plastic cover...jus peel it and you will get better shots

The flash issue has been resolved. I peeled the plastic off and it fixed the issue. Thanks to everybody for their help.
