camera settings

I have been playing around with the camera and if you adjust some of the settings you can get real nice photos. On other phones the auto mode usually took care of this but for some reason the 822 doesn't. I am going to contact Nokia to see if they are aware of this and if they can work on a fix. Its a hassle to change settings for each shot. Anyone finding the same issue?

I would like to find a good write up on adjusting the settings for good pictures. On my rezound I found an article for adjusting the settings and it made a big difference in the quality of pictures. I need to read through the Lumia 900 forums since the cameras are very similar.
