Can a unique identifying photo or text be placed in a tile

I am a new windows 10 mobile user moving from 8.1 on my old phone to a new one with 10 mobile. Where there is no app I have been unable to find out how to add a photo or text to a tile to identify it, especially when at its smallest size. I have always had many tiles that link to web pages or sites for which there is no app. With 8.1 it could take and place an image of the page in the tile so it could easily be identified. This does not seem to work in W10. Is there any other way to do this? I have been unable to find any help for this yet. Thanks
