Can I downgrade Lumia 520 from Cyan to Windows Phone 8?

I updated my lumia 520 to cyan update .
It was very great, but after updating my lumia hangs too much.
worst of all is the music player.
I just wanted to know how to downgrade back to windows 8.
please help....:unhappy:

Just soft reset your phone, it does the trick most of the times....

Yes, it will still be on 8.1 after a reset, but it should have fixed your problems. My 520 works excellent after 8.1/Cyan, it's a bit slower than it originally was with 8, but that's to be expected. Even older iPhones get slower with every new iOS update, and it's for the same reasons. New features get added to the OS, and it demands more resources. My phone is perfectly usable still, I just see a lot more resuming.

you are right. windows 8.1 cyan update is very great .
i too see that resuming part very often.
but I m fade up of the music player, it hangs so much.
when i play any song, it plays some other song. it also takes too much time to get started.
Just wishing to get windows 8 back

You could use an alternative music player, like Modern Music.

There is no way to return to 8.

It is unusual that you are getting such hanging issues. I am experiencing no such issues. Granted it takes a little longer to resume now, but that is acceptable to me. See if you can find a way to reinstall the cyan update. You could of had a bad update download. Don't know how common this is on Windows phones as I have only recently returned to the platform after 5 years, but bad updates are not unheard of on Android platforms.
