Lumia 730 Front Camera Problem

I Own Lumia 730 ..It Has A 5 MP Front Camera but i am facing some problems..when i click photo from front cam in my room..the photo before click seems really nice but as i click on capture photo becomes reddish ..and my photos clicked from back camera shows 5MP Capture Quality In Picture Info In Lumia Camera but its 6.7Mp actually .. pls help..i am really disappointed by its front cam !

Try the lumia selfie app for the issues with your front cam. However, if the issues still persist then it's a hardware problem, which can only be solved by a technician or if you feel confident enough you could change out the cam yourself

I had red wrapping for my phone and had effect like this. If you don't, you must use your warranty.

When you talk about "reddish" is it the entire photo, or just your skin tone? Daniel mentioned some colour balance issues on the front camera in his 735 first impressions video.

As for the second thing - set the aspect ratio setting in Lumia Camera to 4:3 to get the full resolution from the rear camera.

Reddish In Skin Tone ..i also went to Care centre but they say the camera is alright and there is no problem.. but i face problem bacause i use my camera all the time for selfies..

I'm facing the same problem with my Lumia 730. When I capture photo with front camera in the room it became reddish. To explain better, I want to take a selfie, the photo looks great, but when I capture, my face became red, not so great as before I take capture. And this happen only with the face, the background it's ok. I don't know what to do. I took the phone from another country, so it will take me weeks to use warranty if needed.

Did you show the people at the store what you were talking about? Lol get them to make a selfie...

If it's just the face then maybe the cam is overcompensating for sth. Try playing with your settings

How u can show it to them if u ordered it from the internet?! Btw the guy before went to a Care Centre and they said the camera is working alright. Yes, for me is only the face, and only from front camera. The rear camera is working good. Where to find settings for the front camera?

There are no settings (other than framing grid and aspect ratio) for the front camera as far as I can tell.

Oh... In that case a local store? The best options for now..

Use the main cam for your selfies? (download voice selfie app; that should help a bit)

Sell the phone and get a replacement
