Can I get some help rolling back to WP 8.1?

I can't roll back to wp 8.1

Hello I use windows 10 mobile. And I want to roll back to wp 8.1 on my lumia 640XL. however windows device recovery tool 3.1.5 doesnt recognize my device. I tried restart but didnt work. what's the problem?

Launch the app , connect ur device properly to ur pc . If the recovery tool is not showing ur phone automatically then try manually by tapping on "My phone not detected" and let the app to re-scan and follow the procedure. I'm sure it ll help you

Did you also opt out of Insider too? I believe if you don't, it will be seeking that update when you roll back.

Try it with Nokia recovery tool.hope that may detect your device.
