Can I get some help updating my Lumia 520 to Denim?

i am updating my lumia 520 to lumia denim but it stuck on logo "gir"

I am updating my Lumia 520 to lumia denim.
The update got downloaded 100% then it asked to Install I confirmed and then it showed "gir"and then i am waiting. its verry long time. but my baterry ruinned low and dead. so i charging it. but until now my lumia just showed the "gir". what should i do now?

I think you are looking for the word "gears" yes?

You should try remove the SD card, it works for me,,

Dont do hard reset, it just remove your data in internal storages, it can't bring you to Lumia Denim.
