Browser Connection Issues

Am getting connection errors for certain mobile sites, like American Airlines & others, sometimes says I need current browser. I'm running WP 8.1 on Lumia 920, isn't this the current WP Explorer? Or are these problems with the websites that are discontinuing support for Windows apps? Can anything be done? Thanks

When you get these errors, are you using WiFi or your cellular data to connect to the websites?

Using cellular data, not wifi. Since I posted this, AA.com will now connect to the mobile site but only some generic functions work, like "flight schedules" but I cannot login, still get the same connection error.
