can I power my Surface Pro 3 with the USB or mini USB slot?

The power cord connection piece is broken. Can I power my Surface 3 using a USB cord? or a mini USB?

Are you saying your wall adapter is broken? Or the charging port on your Surface 3?

If you have an SP3, then no, you can't power it via USB.

Which part of the power cord? The part that plugs into the wall, or the part that plugs into the SP3?
