Can I simply copy my old SD-card to a new one?

Hi,
I thought of getting a larger Sd-card. Is there a function to simply copy the contents of the old sd-card to the new one so that I don't have to set up all the apps anew or copy all my music files on the sd-card again?

Yes. What I always do just in case, is pop the new card in to the phone and format it there. After that I transfer all the stuff in my PC to the new card.

And also if your on about games then simply transfer all your games to phone (and music and pics) then pop in your new SD card and transfer back from phone to SD card

ah cool. Usually it takes an awful long time to sync music from musicbee to my phone. But with this I can transfer from one sdcard to another which is faster...

As I sort of expected and why I asked this question in the first place. Now the phone does not see any of the music on the sd card. How do I force a rescan
?
