Can I sync iTunes music on Mac to my Lumia 2520?

I'm trying to put my music from my Macbook Pro laptop to my Nokia Lumia 2520. Is that possible?

Absolutely. Go download this (Windows Phone app for Mac | Windows Phone 8 | Windows Phone How-to | Windows Phone (United States)) and then when you start it, you have the option to sync using iTunes library.

I believe you can also move your music to a flash drive and then transfer to your 2520. http://support.apple.com/kb/ht1449

Apple has not released iTunes app for Windows RT. You can copy files from USB sticks/drives or download files from cloud services (OneDrive) to Lumia 2520 tablet. Or you can use micro SD card to transfer files.

I don't have iTunes or Mac, so I don't know which format they are using for music. I have ripped all my music CDs to mp3 files with Windows laptop PC. Then I copied those mp3 files to SD card (64 GB) inserted into 2520. I am using normal Windows RT music app for playing those mp3 files. I can update my music from USB hard drive also, the cable (adapter) must be OTG compliant to work.

Unfortunately this is incorrect. The Lumia 2520 is a Windows RT device, not a Windows Phone so that app won't work.

So far, I've resorted to copying files manually to the micro sd card and using that in my 2520.

Nope unfortunately it won't because it's a Windows RT tablet - not a Windows Phone device. The software he mentioned is for Windows Phone devices, not for RT tablets like the 2520. There is no automatic sharing/syncing device for Windows RT devices at this time.
