can I take how to move an SD card from WP to Android?

Can I take the SD card full of pics,music, etc.. from my Lumia 1520 and just pop it into an Android phone and see everything? Does it need to be formatted or something?

Yes you can. You may have to use a file browser to go hunt down your pics, but I've done just what you're asking. The pics will be there.

and now that I have your attention, is there a built in picture viewer which syncs with one drive camera roll, or do I have to always open up Onedrive to see the pictures?

You would have to open up OneDrive unless they are all currently in your SD card or the phone itself.
In my experience, I only have access to something like that when changing the wallpapers on my phone.

thanks. it would be so efficient for MSFT to make a photos app or integrate it with stock android photos, especially if they want people to upload their cameraroll to onedrive.
