Can I uninstall cortana?

Just upgraded to Windows 10. I do not want the Cortana app on my PC.

1. You can turn Cortana off.

2. You can get rid of Windows 10.

I'm still running Windows 8. But I found a post [Guide] How to Remove All Built-in Apps in Windows 10, It may help fix your problem.
