I have a factory unlocked Lumia 1520 international version with RM-937 which I am trying to sell in the Marketplace. The question has come up about what US providers it will work on. I would appreciate help on this question.

Your only limitation should be the bands that the carrier you want to use have. Check gsmarena.com, it would show you what bands the L1520 use and then you'll be better able to know what carrier to use.

Hope you're looking to move to the L930 or waiting for the nxt flagship WP8.1, because getting rid of the L1520 is surprising but to each his own.

I have the same unlocked version and working with no hiccups here in Toronto (Rogers-Fido carrier). L1520 is not available in any Canadian carrier (got it from Amazon) but still works perfectly.

Exactly..so far as i know.. USA carriers are mainly CDMA and International is GSM Bands. But GSM is still widespread.

Although be aware,IMO, youll regret selling your 1520, I tried it once and sold it for a 1020.. it lasted 2 weeks.. ended up finding a woman on ebay, by chance, who was selling her 1520 in order to buy a 1020 with the money she only lived in the next town as well.. a deal was done, we met up, and a straight swap.. IMO,divine intervention.. haha.

Dont do it friend..
Good luck

I had that model for a few months. It worked fine on AT&T but it won't get LTE, just 3g/4g.

In the case of tmobile, no LTE, just HSPDA / HSPDA+. With all the people using LTE now, not a big difference.
LTE in the US uses different bands than the rm-937 can catch.

Where did you purchase your unlocked L1520? I am also in Toronto and on Rogers. I am thinking of purchasing one. Can I easily use my current sim card from my BB10 and use it in an unlocked L1520 without doing anything else? Thanks in advance!

Got it from amazon.ca.

Here (the same exact phone I purchased):

If your current sim is a nano sim, yeah, you can just swap your phone. But if you have a regular or micro-sim, you can buy a nano SIM from Rogers store (it's just $10) and just call the tech support for sim swap. They just need the 20-digit number printed on the sim card to do a swap. Your old sim will be immediately deactivated. The swap will be completed within a minute and you can use your new sim right away.

If you have questions, message me.

Cheers!
