Can I use my Lumia 640XL on Straight talk?

Lumia 640XL on Straight talk

So I know the Lumia 640XL is coming to Cricket wireless which I believe is an AT&T MVNO of sorts.

I am currently on straight talks BYOP with an AT&T sim. Is it possible to get the Lumia 640XL from Cricket but use my existing Straight Talk plan/sim?

Um....640XL is coming on AT&T and you can use the AT&T device on Cricket since it is an AT&T MVNO. As long as your current Straight Talk is on AT&T MVNO it should work. No guarantees on MMS though...

Thanks. I think MMS should be ok as long as I can access the APN settings on the phone.

I'd ask in the Carrier Lounge... I think I've seen posts that indicate locked to Cricket phones will work on the ATT network, but not another ATT mvno like Straight Talk or Net 10.

And Cricket is only getting the 640, not the XL. It is out now for $129.99 with activation.
