Can I use the reset option to roll back to win8.1 from 10?

My phone is behaving like an enemy since this morning. Just the glance screen shows up and nothing else. And yeah, its a recurring problem. Even when my phone is on, my computer won't recognize it, which makes it impossible to use the recovery tool. The only way left (I guess) (unfortunately) (probably) is to use the reset option. So...?

Hard rest will not set your phone back to WP 8.1 but will make it more stable (in most cases). Actual this is the only option you have.

It actually takes you to 8.0 then after all the updates makes it 8.1. You gotta go through the process for it to recognize you phone. I made the mistake of trying to get out of the TP10 download at like 2am. Got stuck in a reboot/download(double cog) loop for like 18hrs.. Finally was able to get the software recovery tool to recognize my phone after some timing and do the whole revert process over again. I've done it like 6 times already on my Icon.
