Can mp3's in the same album have their own individual artwork?

And do I need a special app for this to work? It doesn't work in the default media player or in Nokia mixmusic. It works fine on my laptop though, using WMP...

I'd imagine what you'd do is put in the different album art pictures, and set all of them to have the same album artist/composer. Therefore as long as all the songs have the same album artist/composer and album name they should be grouped by the phone automatically. Also I'd reboot the phone after copying the songs over just in case the phone needs to re-index or whatever before the changes apply

Use an app as 'mp3tag' to edit the tags for the specific .mp3 file, and it should work.

I have never tried to do what you want to do. but I edit all the tags for my mp3s with that app since forever

I use mp3tag, and it's great! I'm talking about separate artwork for each mp3, album artwork shows up just fine.

Funny, I was asking the same question yesterday, only 2 hours earlier (http://forums.windowscentral.com/windows-phone-8/254625-managing-cover-art.html)

haven't had a reply yet, but so far I found no way to do this.

Well, I guess I'm gonna have to try another media player. If you find a solution please let me know. I thought it would be pretty common to have a "mixed" album with various songs from various albums/artist...
