Can the Microsoft band be connect at the same time to both a Windows Phone and iPad?

Windows Phone and iPad

Can the Microsoft band be connected, at the same time, to both a windows phone and an iPad mini?
I can connect to both, but when I connect to my iPad, it seems I lose the connection to the Windows Phone. Is this correct?

No the band is designed to only pair with a single Bluetooth master.
